Support & general questions
Stuck on something, found a confusing screen, or just want to know how a number is calculated? Email info@xratei.com with the subject “Support question”. There is no account required to use the converter, so you never need to share personal details to get help.
Report a bug or wrong rate
If a page looks broken or a rate looks off, we want to know. To help us fix it quickly, please include:
- The page URL (for example
xratei.com/usd-to-eur) and what you expected to see. - Your device and browser (e.g. Android · Chrome, iPhone · Safari, Windows · Firefox).
- A screenshot if you can — it usually says more than a paragraph.
- The date and time you saw the problem, with your timezone.
Remember that rates on Xratei are refreshed once a day and are informational — small differences from your bank or broker are expected. See our Terms of Service for details.
API & developer questions
Building on the free Xratei API? Questions about endpoints, response formats, fair use, or API keys from the developer dashboard are welcome at info@xratei.com. Include the endpoint you are calling and an example request so we can reproduce what you see.
Privacy & data requests
To exercise any of the rights described in our Privacy Policy — including deleting a developer account and its API keys, or asking what data we hold about you — email info@xratei.com from the address linked to your account. We action deletion requests within 30 days, almost always much faster.
Advertising, partnerships & press
Xratei is ad-supported and we keep advertising clearly separated from rate data. For sponsorship or partnership ideas, or if you are a journalist who needs background on the project, write to info@xratei.com and tell us a little about what you have in mind.
Before you write — quick answers
- Is Xratei free? Yes — the converter, the historical charts, and the API are free. The site is funded by display advertising.
- How fresh are the rates? Rates refresh once a day from open public market sources. They are a reference, not live trading quotes.
- Do I need an account? Not to use the website. Calling the API from your own apps requires a free account and an API key — each key includes a generous daily allowance.
- Can I use the data in my app? Yes, within the fair-use rules in our Terms — attribution is appreciated but not required.
